| | Personality/Abilities.

| | Marguerite is remarkably stubborn and resourceful; those are the qualities that most people see when they look at her, but what no one sees is her compassion and her passion for life. If someone is able to work their way into her heart then she will give her life for them if that is what it comes down to. The sad thing is that most people never see that side of her, because they can't get past the layers of self preservation that she has built up around herself. She doesn't let people in, because the one thing she is insecure about is her own decision making when it comes to people. She has always had bad luck with people, and she doesn't really know how to find the good in the right person for her to be around. Even though she does have fears of her own she doesn't believe in showing them, because it only makes her seem weak. She has never been the type of person to just run away from her problems; if they are standing in the way of what she wants she will not only work through them she will just mow them down. When it comes to skills or abilities she has many of them; she can use a sword, she knows how to use a whip and she speaks several languages. Plus she knows more about gems and rocks than most people could learn in a lifetime. Then there is her skill with a gun; she can shoot better than most men she has come across. Her pistol has saved many lives on the plateau and in her previous adventures.

| | FAMILY: She doesn't know any of her family; her parents left her with nothing but a locket. The locket doesn't even have a picture in it, so she doesn't even know what they look like.
FRIENDS: She had decided that she didn't need friends anymore, because the people she cared about always seem to get hurt. Recently though she has discovered that sometimes it can be a good thing to let people in, and she has a few close friends that she was forced to leave behind for a while when she came to Aiode Falls. Veronica is more like a sister really, because they really do fight like sisters and Malone is like the annoying little brother she never had. Challenger is like a wise uncle who teachers her all the lessons she never could learn on her own, and Summerlee was like a grandfather to her. Finn is just a really good friend that she can respect, and Assai is another friend she had managed to make.
ACQUAINTANCES: Where she was you don't have many chances to make Acquaintances; of course it doesn't help that she does have a tendency to make a bad first impression. You have to really get to know her to appreciate who she is.
ENEMIES: She has more than she can count on both hands or her toes; she just attracts trouble and once she despises someone it is really hard to change her mind.
EX's: She has been married more times than she cares to admit, and she used to use her feminine wiles to get what she wants. So, there are a quite a few men out there that will claim they had something special with her, but the truth is there has only been a few she has really cared about. Well there has really only be one that she can claim she loves with any honesty in her voice.
CRUSHES: As of right now she only has one man that she cares anything for in that sense and his name is Lord John Roxton. She swore that she would never put herself in the position to get hurt again, but for some reason she just can't seem to turn him away. He has found a way to get inside her head and more importantly her heart, which is something that she thought no one would ever be able to do.

| | Not much is known about Marguerite Krux or her past; her childhood is a mystery even to herself. All she knows is that she was raised in a number of boarding school until she reached adulthood and then she went off on her own. Having to grow up the way she did made her very hesitant to trust people. She always had to fend for herself most of the time, so she never learned how to depend on anyone else. She grew a tough shell which allowed her to do many great things that most women of her time would never dream of doing. She was a spy in the war and she managed to get involve with several jewel thefts. She made the mistake of marrying for money or prestige several times, and all of those marriages ended badly. Eventually she got to the point where she was running out of money, and she was running from someone that she had wronged. So, she had only one choice; she walked into a lecture hall where Professor George Edward Challenger was giving a lecture on a new Lost World he had discovered. Challenger was trying to get an expedition together, but they didn't have the money. Marguerite stepped right in and told them that she would fund the mission, but only if she was allowed to come along. Of course the men doubted her at first, but they quickly learned that she was more than capable of taking care of herself.
After she arrived on the Lost Plateau she learned many new things about herself. She has learned how to trust people, and more importantly she has learned what it means to have a family. All of the people on the expedition mean something to her. She only grew stronger as the time passes, but not because of anything she did. She learned that by having something else to fight for she was motivated to do even better in battle. Then there is Lord John Roxton; Marguerite swore that she would never fall in love with a man again, but John Roxton began changing her mind the first day she met him. She finds herself actually needing him, which is something that she thought would never happen. She has never needed anyone in her entire life, which is why it took her so long to even admit how much she cared about him.
